As a Shopify Developer, you will interact with clients, designers, and other developers to create customized and high-quality online stores using the Shopify platform. It is the developer’s responsibility for implementing creative solutions, optimizing website performance, and ensuring seamless user experiences.
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Proven experience in developing and customizing e-commerce websites using Shopify.
- Portfolio showcasing previous Shopify projects.
- Familiarity with UX/UI principles and best practices.
- Familiarity with version control systems, such as Git.
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- A Shopify Developer’s primary role is to develop an interactive and competent Online Shopify Store to drive sales and revenue.
- Customize and modify Shopify themes to create visually appealing and user-friendly online stores.
- Shopify Developer is expected to specialize in all facets of the ECommerce platform.
- They are expected to collaborate with the UX and UI Design Teams to develop innovative front-end user experiences.
- Integrate third-party apps and extensions to enhance the functionality and performance of our e-commerce website.
- They specialize in frequent Testing and Debugging of websites for better performance. They often provide Technical Support and Coordination based on their findings, safeguarding businesses from failures.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in Shopify development and e-commerce industry.
- Shopify website developers are also responsible for optimizing your website to increase conversion rates.
SKILLS REQUIRED:
- Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and responsive web design.
- Strong experience with Shopify’s theme customization and liquid programming language.
- Familiarity with Shopify’s API and app development.
- Knowledge of SEO principles and best practices.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
