The PPC Strategist is responsible for planning, executing, and optimizing paid advertising campaigns across platforms like Google Ads, Meta, and LinkedIn to maximize ROI and achieve business goals.
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:
- A bachelor’s degree in marketing, advertising, business, or any other related field.
- Familiar in PPC advertising and other concepts in digital marketing.
- Deep understanding of PPC ad networks like Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, Facebook Ads, etc.
- Ability to analyze data, make data-driven decisions, and to optimize campaigns.
- Strong communication and interaction abilities.
- Certifications in Google Ads are an added advantage.
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Delivering PPC campaigns to the most relevant and effective networks, based on analysis, monitoring, review and active decision-making.
- Fully assessing and understanding business objectives and translating those goals into a PPC strategy and action plan.
- Monitoring and reporting on key performance indicators and presenting progress to stakeholders and senior management.
- Undertaking smart buying decisions to ensure maximum effect for a given online budget spend.
- Collaborating with other marketing colleagues to ensure joint strategic marketing objectives align with paid ad activity.
- Working with IT and web development teams to ensure there is a technical capability to deliver, capture and ensure the success of key aspects – such as landing pages, tracking codes and integration of analytics.
SKILLS REQUIRED:
- Hands-on experience in Google Ads, Bing Ads, and social media advertising platforms to plan, execute, and optimize PPC campaigns.
- Strong knowledge in keyword research tools to identify search terms that drive targeted traffic.
- Ability to create engaging PPC ad copy that maximizes clicks and conversions.
- Understanding of landing page design principles to improve user experience and campaign ROI.
- Experience in A/B testing and other optimization techniques to enhance campaign performance.
- Ability to interpret campaign data, drive insights, and make data-driven decisions.
- Familiarity with analytics tools and platforms to track and measure campaign performance.
- Strong skills to manage multiple campaigns efficiently.
- Good knowledge of MS Office, Google Docs, and Google Sheets for reporting, monitoring, and coordination.
