The E-Commerce Developer is responsible for building, customizing, and managing online stores with platforms like Magento, Shopify, or WooCommerce. The role involves combining payment gateways, optimizing site performance, ensuring security, and delivering user experiences.
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (preferred).
- 1–3 years of experience in e-commerce/web development (freshers with strong skills may be considered).
- Knowledge of e-commerce platforms, front-end (HTML, CSS, JS), backend (PHP/Node.js), APIs, and databases.
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop and customize e-commerce websites and features.
- Integrate payment/shipping gateways and third-party tools.
- Ensure responsive design, performance optimization, and SEO compliance.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and provide ongoing maintenance.
- Collaborate with teams to deliver user-friendly solutions.
SKILLS REQUIRED:
- Proficiency in e-commerce platforms (Shopify, WooCommerce, BigCommerce, etc.).
- Strong front-end development skills (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Bootstrap, jQuery).
- Backend development (PHP, Node.js, or Python) and REST/GraphQL APIs.
- Database management (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
- Knowledge of payment gateways (PayPal, Stripe, Razorpay, etc.).
- Understanding of SEO best practices, site performance, and security..
- Experience with APIs, version control (Git), and security best practices.
- Problem-solving, attention to detail, teamwork, and communication skills.
