The Business Development Executive will be responsible for new business development, lead generation, business communication, Cold calling and account management tasks on a day-to-day basis. Primary focus will be on generating leads, securing new projects, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve sales targets and revenue objectives.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Interior Design, or a related field. MBA is a plus.
  • Proven experience in business development, sales, or account management within the interior design or related industry.
  • Proficiency in generating leads through various channels (cold calling, email outreach).
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas in a clear and persuasive manner.
  • Strong networking abilities with the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and industry professionals.
  • Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and capitalize on business opportunities.
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Strong negotiation and closing skills, with attention to detail and contractual terms.
  • Willingness to travel as needed for client meetings, industry events, and site visits.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop business relationships with existing and new clients to drive sales growth.
  • Identify potential clients through market research and lead generation techniques.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (sales, product) to understand client needs and provide solutions.
  • Conduct cold calls, emails, and meetings to pitch products/services effectively.
  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions using CRM software.

SKILLS REQUIRED:

  • Proven working experience as a business development Executive, sales executive, or a relevant role.
  • Ability to flourish with minimal guidance, be proactive, and handle uncertainty.
  • Market knowledge.
  • Proficient in Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
  • Comfortable using a computer for various tasks.
  • Proficiency in English.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills – needed for communicating with a wide range of people, both internally and externally.
  • Time management and planning skills.
